QUESTION

Does a notarized form requiring two signatures need to sign the same copy or can two different copies be signed?

More details to this question:
I have a Guardian Release form for liability for the other insurance after a car accident needing signed by myself and my daughter's biological father. He lives far away and we rarely communicate but I was originally told we could sign different copies of the same form but am now being told we have to sign the same copy of one form. Which is correct?

The insurance company is the party that you have to satisfy.  Whatever they require is what you need to get done.
