Does my employer have any responsibility?

More details to this question:
I am the only employee of a small business owner. While doing errands for him, I was in a car accident (in which I was found to be at fault) and my car was totaled. Is he in any way responsible for the expenses I've incurred from this?

If you were in an accident while performing duties within the scope of your employment then yes, your employer should be liable for worker's comp, medical expenses, etc. so long as you were not grossly negligent in causing the accident.
