My daughter takes a hip hop dance class where they wear shoes to dance in. The instructor told them to remove their shoes but not their socks for one particular dance - she told them don’t remove your socks because the floor is dirty. The floor is also wooden, and my daughter slipped and landed on her head. The hospital confirmed concussion but no serious brain injury, she has lost her shirt term memory - hopefully temporarily. Do we have a case?
Sorry to hear what happened to your daughter. Unfortunately, slipping and falling is arguably an inherent risk of dancing (even with shoes). Absent any evidence that the organizer of the dance class did anything to increase that risk, or evidence that there was something on the floor which caused her to slip, a lawsuit would not likely be successful.
