I have been at same Doctor foe three years. I had an accident and broke my neck. My drug screen came up positive for hydromorophone. In which I was given in hospital. I am on a lot of medicine and I have read where changes in meds can change a test results. I am not guilty of drugs in my system other than the mixture of Wellbutrin and trazodon. My script for the Wellbutrin was increased and I forgot to let them know about it. The want to discharge me on grounds of positive test foe ampetimines. Can I fight this. This ruins my reputation with the future doctore.

Your best option is to obtain your past presciption record and sit down with your doctor to discuss your concerns. However, a doctor runs a service-oriented business and if he elects to no longer do business with you, then you have no recourse. Doctors are under a lot of Federal and State scrutiney over marcotic medication prescriptions, and many doctors have a very low threshold for any type of deviation from what has been prescribed.
