More details to this question:
as I am going down the stairs on 5-21-14 while my child is holding on railing I don't see the second step do to stairs kind of uneven .I hand the child to his aunt thinking this was the last step, as I put my foot down thinking I was on the sidewalk fell as I am falling grabbed railing mid fall foot contorted forward then back .felt extreme pain in both bridge and bottom of foot .was taken to hospital XRays were taken. conclusion was ,multiple fractures through out my foot .was told by doctor possibility of surgery needed down the road.. As of the 21 of may I have been home with my leg in a cast .

You need to contact an attorney to do an investigation of the condition of the stairs. Was the stair uneven, was it damamged, not contructed properly, lighting was poor, etc. If any of those conditions exist then the owner of the building may be responsible for your injuries.
