QUESTION

Finding another Lawyer to take my case

Asked on Oct 13th, 2014 on Personal Injury - Washington
More details to this question:
Here is a brief summary for my question to you. In reference to a personal injury case that was taken on a contingency basis and the attorney then withdrew after a couple of depositions were taken in that case, including other discovery. The attorney provided other names to call so as to have someone elsereview the case. Every attorney called said that the initial attorney had gotten "to far into the case" and therefore they would not be willing to accept the case and proceed as the new attorney of record. Can you please tell me what the attorneys might have meant when, after reviewing the file, they refused to accept the case because the file showed the initial attorney had gotten "too far into the case"?

Without more information about your case, it would be pure speculation as to what the other attorneys meant. Did the other attorneys have your file? If so, it's possible the other attorneys felt there was a problem with the case.
