QUESTION

Fleeing the Scene (?)

Asked on Mar 09th, 2021 on Automobile Accidents - Wisconsin
More details to this question:
Hi! So I was doing a Door Dash delivery last weekend when I lost control of my car and drove through a field, totaling it. At least that’s what I remember. I hurt my legs, left arm, and nose pretty bad and in the moment with all the smoke n such I ran home. I was about a mile away, and I panicked. The police haven’t came to my apartment yet, and my dad (registered in his name) hasn’t been contacted in any way either. I want to turn myself in, but if I go to jail I won’t be able to keep my apartment. I was the only person injured, and no extensive property damage was done. (Only the ground/car parts scattered) I can’t stress enough that my memory of the accident and the days after are very hazy. I am not sure if I hit my head bad, but I essentially want to know if I turn myself in will I just be booked and/or cited, and released? Or will I be immediately apprehended?
