Found LIVE parasitic worms in my food, video documented, & set aside any worms I found. Went to the dr & going to the hospital tomorrow. Can I sue?

I ordered crawfish from a restaurant and it got to my house really quickly. I was delighted at first, but when I ate leftovers the following day, I found multiple live parasitic worms. As soon as I saw it, I took as much video documentation as I could and found numerous worms in multiple crawfish that were still alive. They’re set aside in a jar with some water to be tested at the hospital tomorrow. I went to urgent care already, but I need to get my stool tested; as I had worms in my fecal matter. I’m contacting the health department as well. Will I be able to sue for this?

So sorry to hear that your dining experienced was ruined. Alhough you could technically sue the restaurant for serving you contaminated food and without minimizing what you went through, I'm not sure the time and expense would be worthwhile absent a serious, permanent injury. Your best course (and an arguably easier course) may be to simply seek reimbursed for your meal and the cost of your urgent care visit.
