got hurt a while back in 2010

hi im jeff a 5 yr veterean of the army i had been injured a while ago at my ex bosses house during work hours see i worked at georges resterant in providence ri. and since work was caught up with he had us go across the street where he owned a house he was renting out he had me and a co worker move some panes of glass as well as move old windows i had cut my middle finger on my right hand i had to get 7 stitches he made me lie to the people at the clinic he also made me tell them the incident happend on the job so that his insurance... or me dont file any legal actions but now that im out of the army my hand has been keeping me from getting a job at time i cant even use my right hand because of the pain i have two kids as well that i need to take care of what options do i have sir/maam?
