On 10/28/18. My 2 year old and I was on the interstate going 70 mph and hit a deer. ( I was driving a 2015 Ford Edge.)I came to pretty quick stop. The front of the car was completely smashed in and the airbags did not go off. I had to kick the door open to get me and my son out bc the car was filling up with smoke. Later that week we got a letter for a recall on the airbags but it was obviously to late for that. No one got hurt but it was more traumatizing than anything and can’t go at normal speed limits for the fact that I don’t trust airbags anymore. Can I sue the car company ( Ford ) for this? 11/2/18
You are lucky you were not injured! Because you are lucky you were not injured, the only claim you have against Ford is for the defective airbags to be replaced. There is a national recall campaign and class action against airbag manufacturers. You might Google this and make a claim through them for damages. Good luck.
