Hit and run while parked in my driveway

More details to this question:
Someone hit my car while it was parked in my driveway and left their car with expired plates there. It is likely that they do not have insurance. I am renting my house so is my landlords home owners insurance required to pay.

No, the landlords homeowners is not required to pay. If you have uninsured motorist on your policy, then your insurance company may pay.
