How can I get a refund from a closed company?

More details to this question:
A school for nursing operating as a business did not honor its commitment to me even while accepting other students. There is no contact numbers available to me. How do I proceed?

If you have names of the owners or managers, you can try to find them. You can sue the school,, but you will likely have trouble collecting.
