It is impossible for me to render even an opinion on the value of your case without a lot more information. I would have to know the specific nature of your injuries, how long you treated with a doctor or doctors, what kind of treatment you had, what your medical bills are, whether any doctor has recommended treatment you have not yet had (such as surgery), and your doctor's long-term prognosis for you. I would also likely need to know how long it has been since the accident, in what jurisdiction a lawsuit would be filed, whether the defendant or defendants had insurance, etc.

Based on your inquiry, you have a fairly complex case that is not subject to being evaluated quickly. Sounds like you have either had or need significant surgical procedures, which dictates a significant case value, however, without knowing what medical treatment you have had to this point and what prospective medical treatment is being recommended can't even hazard an estimate. For purposes of a personal injury claim, must file complaint for damages no later than 2 years post accident. Are you still within that window? If so, need to contact counsel in short order.

You should have a six-figure + case depending upon total med costs, loss of employment wages, pain and suffering, etc. Utilizing an attorney will maximize your recovery.

The value of a personal injury case in California depends on a great number of factors to wit: 1. Whether the case is settled before filing a lawsuit, after filing a lawsuit, just before trial, or after a jury verdict 2. the value is also affected by the county in which you live 3. the quality and experience of your attorney 4. the amount of preparation the attorney does such as obtaining copies of all relevant medical records and bills 5. the quality of the medical experts retained for settlement and trial 6. the amount of permanent injury you have 7. the amount of the medical bills 8. the amount lost earnings, if any 9. any other facts or factors which may make the case unique or unpredictable.

What your case is worth depends in large part on how good of an attorney you have and how much insurance money and/or assets of the defendant there is/are.

If your medical experts can definitely connect the accident to the injuries, your case is worth a substantial amount. It will depend on all kinds of factors: your medical bills, your loss of earnings, etc. You should immediately consult with an attorney.

You may have a very substantial case, but it is impossible to tell without more information. If you do not already have an attorney, you should contact one right away for consultation. In my experience, an injured party with very good legal representation stands a much better chance of obtaining a favorable recovery than an injured party without it.
