How do I settle with the other insurance company?

More details to this question:
I was involved in an accident in which I was hit from behind. My vehicle has been declared a total loss and I haven't been able to settle with the other driver's insurance company. No one has contacted me about a personal injury claim. Even though I was not directly injured in the accident, I do have a titanium plate in my neck and I do have an appointment with my neurosurgeon to evaluate if there has been any damage to the plate. This accident happened on Aug. 9, 2014. What are my options?

You have the option to handle this matter on your own or my suggestion is that you go meet with an attorney who handles auto accidents claims and discuss all your options with that attorney. Good luck with this matter.
