More details to this question:
My Mother was taking Lovastatin . She suddenly came down with an extremely rare strain of Herpes Simplex Encephalitis as well as viral meningitis and kidney infection. The hospital called her a learning case it was so rare. She was expected to die after 2 days but did live. She is considered to be incapacitated by the courts and now requires guardianship etc. Has massive memory issues and has had to re learn many common things as ambulating, remembering words, colors etc. My father is on disability and my mother who was working can no longer work or drive. We were told by multiple pharmacists that The Lovaststin Caused it all by lowering her imune system. they need to sue for massive damages, financial damages, pain and suffering,Lost future wages but have no idea how to go about it...What kind of lawyer do i need to seek out as they have ZERO money to hire a lawyer ?

You should talk to an attorney who handles product liability cases. You might also check (Google) to see if there is a Lovastatin class action pending.
