QUESTION

How do you dispute a chiropractor after a car accident?

Asked on Aug 14th, 2013 on Personal Injury - Rhode Island
More details to this question:
My son had a car accident. Now, the woman has seen a chiropractor and has hired a lawyer the next day. The accident was a minor and we feel like maybe it sounds like she is looking for a pay day, regardless of injuries.

Injuries from auto collisions can manifest themselves days later or even weeks later. You don't know whether this person is hurt or not. You report all this to your insurance co and let them deal with it. That is what insurance is for. It is not for you to worry about.

Turn the case over to your insurance company and let the lawyer that they assigned to the case handle it. There are different tactics to handle chiropractors. One way is to get an independent medical medical examination from a qualified orthopedist?

Notify your insurance carrier. Cooperate with your carrier's request. Go on with your life and leave it to the carrier and the counsel they provide. If you did not have insurance, engage counsel, and heed counsel's advice.
