How long to take clean my driver’s record?

I got ticket and I just pay off but it's in my drive record.

Any points that you get will last for 18 months, but nothing ever goes off your traffic or criminal record. Try to drive carefully or DMV will revoke your license permanently.

It will probably be on your record for 10 or more years. Paying the fine is not like getting baptized. It is a criminal act which will remain on your record.
