It's not possible to state with any certainty. These types of cases in Iowa can take between six months and two years to complete depending on the strength of the liability and damage case.

Your lawyer is the best one to answer this. A case can end at any time a settlement is reached, which can be as early as a moth or two after you are released from the doctor. Some cases take longer to settle, such as six months to a year. Some cases cannot be settles and take as much a 3 years or more.

When you are fully well, when all reports and bills are provided to the carrier, if there is liability you may get paid in 30 days. Slip and fall cases are not well thought of (pay attention to where you are walking is what the insurance co says) so don't expect much.

Depends on the store and their insurance company. You need to wait until you have finished your treatment and have reached Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI) before making a demand.

It is very hard to predict with any certainty. Slip and fall cases can be difficult to settle due to Ohio law. Many insurance companies will refuse to settle or will offer a very low amount that may seem insulting to you. Your lawyer may have to file a lawsuit to force the other side to take the case seriously. Thereafter, the length of time until your case goes to trial can be anywhere from 1 to 2 years from the date that the lawsuit is filed. Hope this helps.
