On the job injuries are most often claims under workers compensation laws and not the same as "lawsuits" for negligence. However , all the facts need to be reviewed to determine what causes of the injury were and whether other parties , not your employer, were negligent in some manner precipitating your injury. Worker's Compensation does not rest upon anyone's negligence, merely the fact of an on the job injury should entitle you to certain benefits.

The value of your claim depends on many factors, including periods of disability, medical & vocational factors and compensation for permanent impairment.
