Hard to answer based on your question: First answer these: (a) Who is at fault in the accident (b) What are your injuries (c) Is there comparative negligence issues (d) What is your property damage (e) Do you have pre-existing injuries? (f) Is this just soft tissue injury (g) Are the entire $7500 owed or a part paid by insurance (h) Do you have any current medical problems. (I) If so what is the course of treatment ,duration of treatment expected and cost. If anyone answers your questions without knowing these data, just take for a fact that the answer is worthless.. So, if you have a lawyer ask the lawyer about this. If not hire a good one.

No one who is not familiar with all the facts of your case could possibly advise you about the merits of a possible settlement. You would do well by consulting a personal injury lawyer, who can take the time to explore ALL of your damages, which may not be apparent to a lay person. Good Luck.

Oh, that's simple: first, add up all the digits of your social security number, if the result is a two-digit number, add those digits together. If the result is a fibonacci number, then take the square of that number, If it isn't, then take the square root of the factorial. Next, using your zip code, find the location index in the equaliztion manual published by the US Census Bureau. Apply those two numbers as a ratio to your economic loss, and voila, you've settled your case. It won't work, but it makes about as much sense as not having a lawyer represent you, when clearly that is what you need.

Almost every day we get a request for evaluation of a claim. We cannot respond to such a request, as there are simply too many elements to be considered. These include percentage of fault, age and health and background of the claimant, the nature of the injury, the treatment, the diagnosis, the prognosis, the cost of the treatment, and the outcome. Also to be taken into account in some cases are the amount and type of insurance coverage and the name of the insurance company. Most attorneys offer a free conference. We suggest that you talk to a few lawyers. Also, you should know that an independent study showed that claimants did better, even after fees, with a lawyer than without.

In order to determine how much you want to try to get in your case, it would be necessary to review all of the facts and pertinent factors in your case. Although the amount of medical bills is important, it is also important to see how the accident happened and what type of medical treatment you had.

There is no formula for settlement. The amount is based on how sever the accident was. If you lost wages due to the accident, have your employer send a letter outlining how much money you lost while being out of work. You should add that to the amount that you should ask for. Ask for more than you are willing to settle. It would be reasonable to ask for the medical damages x 2 + your lost wages - but be willing to negotiate. For example, if you are willing to accept $14,000, ask for $18,-$20,000.

The value of a case depends on the facts of it as they relate to liability, damages and collectability. Case values vary widely from circumstance to circumstance and from place to place. It is the job of an experienced personal injury lawyer to evaluate your case. Consider consulting one. Good luck.
