How often should one expect a call from the lawyer?

It''s been 20 months since the accident and i haven''t hear from my lawyer.I only spoke to him the 3rd day after the accident 1/6/09. Every time i call him he never call back, 6 months ago i call and the secretary call me back and told me if i don''t feel good to go to my Doctor and i thing was wrong of her to say that without telling my lawyer what was wrong.This past week i have call him 4 times and he haven''t call back.

Your lawyer should be more responsive. Look at your fee agreement with him - it may give you the right to terminate the relationship and seek other counsel. Good luck.
