QUESTION

how to amend an opposition to a motion for summary judgment

Asked on Apr 05th, 2018 on Personal Injury - Florida
More details to this question:
hello, I have been in a lengthy civil case that was reversed in appeals court for a motion to dismiss. Now they filed a motion for summary judgment. My oppoisition to that motion was poorly drafted due to health issues. The defendant then replied to my opposition. Can I ask leave to amend my opposition? Or how would I best approach the fact that I did not properly respond to that summary judgment? All deadlines passed a month ago. Im worried I should have responded in more detail. We have not had a hearing on the matter. The judge has not yet ruled. thank you

If you have been in a lengthy civil case and there has been an appeal, it sounds like you must have had counsel. It does ot seem like something that could be done pro se and still need assistance with this question. It seems that you have legft out pertinent facts including your attorney's position in this regard.   I suggest you retain counsel immediately.
