QUESTION

Husband Injured in Deck Collapse

Asked on May 03rd, 2016 on Slip and Fall - Pennsylvania
More details to this question:
My husband was recently injured in a deck collapse at property that was rented by a group of his friends. It was determined that the wood on the deck was rotting - which resulted in the collapse. He had an ambulance ride, an afternoon in the ER, follow-up consultation & now surgery on his foot. He will be out of work for up to 12 weeks with no pay. The owner's insurance company has called us once in two weeks. Should we be contacting a lawyer now, or wait?
