I have been in an automobile accident. The person that hit me is at fault. My insurance will not pay me medical.

I am sorry to hear you were in an accident and I am glad you are okay. It is unfortunate that the other driver does not have valid insurance. However; I am confused as to why your insurance company is denying paying your medical bills. Do you have valid UM coverage? Your UM coverage is in place for this very reason. It would be the best scenario to pursue your own coverage to cover your damages. I would need more information in order to determine if it would be a wise decision to pursue this person personally. As this sounds like a more difficult case, I recommend that you speak with an attorney as soon as possible. The insurance company has an army of lawyers to protect their interests.
