I was beating in my apartment complex and had to have two surgeries and a blood transfusion. This happened in 2015. Is it too late to file a case against my apartment complex?

You have 4 years from the event in which to resolve the matter or commence a lawsuit against the apartment complex after which you will be time-barred. Your injuries deserve consideration on whether the apartment complex can be held to be negligent and legally liable for paying you damages.
