You may have a case. We'd be happy to review it with you. Slip/fall cases are determined by three things- 1) was what caused you to fall the fault of the store or could they have known and fixed it; 2) did it cause injury and 3) what is the value of those injuries and the pain, suffering and inconvenience they cause you worth? Well, it’s possible you do.  You slipped, fell, and suffered injury.  However, there’s a bit more to it than just that… and the facts are important.  Basically, it is important whether or not the establishment was negligent and whether that negligence caused you to fall and get hurt.  Rather than go through a dissertation on ‘slip and fall,’ I would just say that it sounds like you’ve got some important elements present in the facts you presented and I’d say to meet with an attorney sooner rather than later.  It doesn’t say how long ago this happened, so you want to make sure you don’t run afoul of possible statute of limitation issues.  I can’t necessarily say you have a case, but it sounds like you have enough to discuss with an attorney in a confidential environment.
