I was dropped by my attorney today!

More details to this question:
I was dropped by my attorney today after 7 months can I retain another attorney? It is a personal injury case. Will some else handle it for me? I am scared now with my medical bills.

The answer is yes, you ALWAYS have the right to obtain a lawyer of your choosing. The real issue is WHY did the other lawyer drop the case? Most commonly it is a lack of liability insurance of some time that renders the case uncollectable or some legal facts that cause some difficulty.
