injury

Asked on Feb 01st, 2015 on Slip and Fall - Massachusetts
More details to this question:
I went roller skating with the family last night and when I was skating there was somethin on the rink floor that made my right skate come to a complete stop, therefore I came crashing down on my knee! What tripped me was an unopened ketchup package. I have a broken tibia, I cant walk, carry my baby (I have 3 small kids), I cant work, get to the laundry downstairs, ect. . . . .Do I have a case? There was warnings enter at own risk on the walls but I do believe food is not allowed on the rink. Thank you!

Depending on what caused you to fall will determine whether you have a negligence case against the roller skating rink.  Do you know what you tripped on?  Where there any witnesses to the fall who saw what you fell on?  I also strongly recommending that you request IN WRITING to the rink that you preserve the video from the entire day that you fell.  This may help you in proving their negligence.  Please let me know if you have any questions.
