is there a limit on fees for motercyle accident with injury. 33.3 is a amount i saw. this attourney charged 50% of the settlement before medical bills were paid. the medical bills were taken out of clients portion after the 50%. is this acceptable?

If it was 50% FEES this is not appropriate without a court order/approval. If its 50% with FEES and COSTS combined, this is perfectly normal as the costs of the case are IN ADDITION to the fees, generally. Medical bills incurred are paid out of your portion AFTER FEES AND COSTS.
