More details to this question:
I was on my bike and had tge right of way when suddenly a car turning right hit the front of the bike. I fell and the bike landed on my knees. I was taking immediately to the hospital, x rays were taken and there's no fracture, however I was left with a few nasty bruises and an achy knee. This happened a week ago. The insurance company is covering all the medical bills as well as the bike repair.

Your injuries are probably not serious enough to pursue in a lawsuit unless there is more to what you have reported.
