More details to this question:
A lady came to a car dealership to get a detail car wash and asked one of the employees washing the car to change her side bulbs that were out. The employee changed the bulbs, but hooked the positive and negative cables up wrong to the battery (that had to be taken out) and caused damage to the car. Is the employee or dealership liable? No paperwork was done on the car for the detail.

The dealer is liable for the negligence of its employee. There is probably liability insurance for the dealer. Report this to the General Manager and tell that person that you want to make a claim.
