My wife was involved in a car accident 9 months ago. She was rear-ended by a vehicle going 25-30 mph. As a result, she suffered a soft tissue injury to her back. For the first month after the accident she lost 10 days of work and had medical bills of $2000. Nine months later, she still experiences pain in her back every now and then. The insurance company has offered to pay the medical bills and offered $1,800 additionally to cover loss of wages, pain and suffering, etc. The $1,800 won't even cover the loss of wages. What is fair considering the medical bills, length of time and still have pain every now and then. She cannot really afford to continue paying for weekly physical therapy as everything is out of pocket for us. Thanks in advance.
