QUESTION

JETSKI TOUR INJURY

Asked on Aug 29th, 2013 on Personal Injury - Florida
More details to this question:
On a jetski tour, my wife broke ankle in 3 places. I believe the injury was caused by tour guide for the following reasons: 1. We were obligated to drive jetski at full throttle by our tour guide, a speed on jetski of 41 knots which was way above our comfort/competency level. 2. My wife was driving jetski with our 15 year old son as passenger, he outweighs his mother by 90lbs. Should'nt the driver be the stronger, heavier person? 3. After continuing on tour, thinking ankle might only be badly sprained, tour guide actually caused another fall from jetski by driving in doughnuts around my injured wife's jetski. 4. A boat with a family was also on the tour and they could be potential witnesses. 5. Jetski design is faulty as the place where feet go is a trough that broke my wifes foot in three places all the way around her ankle as she fell. The high speed of jetski also contributed.
