I have an investment property, someone tripped and fell and is sueing. I know thw lawyers for the insurance co are representing the insurance co interest. Should I get my own lawyer?

If your insurance company is providing a defense, and it seems like the injury will not exceed the amount of coverage, then no, you probably do not need to get your own lawyer.
