More details to this question:
I found out my lawyer lost his license shortly after i signed my release and authorization forms all of his funds were put on freeze. I filled out the grievance commission forms now what?

Check with the Attorney Grievance Commission, but you might also have to file a claim with the Client Security Trust Fund in Maryland. Also, check with the insurance company that settled the cliam with you to make sure whether or not it has already sent the settlement check to your attorney. Good luck with this matter.
