murphy bed installed fell on my mother

murphy bed was installed in my condo by a company that builds it and installs it. My 92 year old mother was laying in the murphy bed and the murphy bed fell completely down off the wall. My mother had a big board from the murphy bed fall across her chest I called ambulance she was taken to hospital for severe pain chest and back. Hospital did x-rays and mri and admitted mother to the intensive care unit. pain, high blood pressure, oxygen. Now mother is home and still in severe pain chest and back. Mother had a knee replacement on 8-4-2016. Manufacturer came took part of bed down and said they were sorry and would rebuild it and re install it with bigger nails or in the stud. we took pictures things were broken, pictures show in the wall they had tried over 8 times to put nails in . manufacturer says they never had a problem like this before. questions Mother is in severe pain and still very upset over this, who is responsible for pain and suffering, doctor bills? case for this what do
