Asked on Oct 21st, 2014 on Personal Injury - New Jersey
More details to this question:
My father slipped and fell on a wet floor in his workplace. there was no caution sign warning that the floor was wet. He fell and broke his left hand( his dominant hand) and can no longer work as he works with with hands. this accident also has triggered and worsened conditions of previous smaller more minor injuries which also prevent him now from working. these previous injuries were not a problem before. His employer told him to go on workman compensation. he also banned him from his work place and took his keys. is there any legal actions he can take to protect himself?

your father needs to file a worker's compensation suit against his employer.  He may also be able to qualify for partial disability because he broke his dominant hand.  I can help you with this if you would like to call my office.
