My 11 year old son was hurt while staying at the Marriott in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. We vacationed there from September 24-28, 2018. The glass bathroom sliding door exploded/shattered into many pieces when he was coming out of the shower and cut his right arm, right foot and bottom of both feet. Medical attention was needed and due to the pain on the bottom of his feet he wasn't able to walk for a couple of days. Is this a case that is worth following up with? I submitted an official complaint to the Marriott and I'm pending a response.
Marriott hotels may have provided in your reservation documents that a hotel guest who was injured, arising from the hotel staff’s negligence, can sue in the courts in the USA. You should have counsel review all your rental room paperwork to ascertain whether suing here is viable. Good luck.
