QUESTION

options for elevator injury

Asked on Apr 16th, 2015 on Personal Injury - Massachusetts
More details to this question:
While on vacation at a resort in fl, my 3 yo got her arm stuck in the elevator doors. She was hysterical and in terrible pain. We could not open elevator doors as hard as we tried, we screamed for security who managed to release her arm after a time. Do we have any rights for compensation from hotel even though thankfully she was not seriously injured???

Actually, there potentially could be s claim against hotel, elevator maintenance company, and/or manufacturer of elevator. But, since he is OK now except for having anxiety, it would not be economically feasible to pursue any claims
