parking lot accident

More details to this question:
Do we still have a chance to pursue for medical and property damages? my wife was pulling out of my parking spot when another vehicle started pulling out. Since she was halfway out already, she stopped and honk the horn. He didn't stop and hit her car. She was shaken up because this was her first time and confused on what to do. She immediately called my me. A woman stopped and said she witnessed everything but the other party told her that it's just a parking accident and that everything is okay and that she can leave. In the mean time I was telling her to call police since it happened at night and the other party is a male. A Police accident report was filed. I took her to the ER the day after the accident because her back is sore. The doctor gave her pain releiver and muscle relaxant. We put in a claim on his insurance that same night of the accident. We just received a letter today from his insurance denying our claim.

Since the insurance company for the other driver has already denied your wife's claim, her only option to be able to try to seek compensation is to file a lawsuit against the other diver.  I suggest that you contact a lawyer in the city/town/county where the collision occurred so that you can pursue a lawsuit against the other driver.  Good luck with this matter.
