QUESTION

Parking Lot accident, who is at fault?

Asked on Apr 04th, 2014 on Automobile Accidents - Maryland
More details to this question:
Parked my car. No car to the right, no car in front of me. There is a car diagonally to my front right side. I get out of the driver door, walk around to the back, passenger in my back right side goes to open the door and the car diagonally pulls forward through the open spot and they collide. There car is half in the spot to my right and half in the spot diagonally. I have a RAV4 Toyota and the curve of the door comes together with the slant of their car. They meet on the curve part of the fender above the wheel. Almost on the hood but not on the side.

Update Your Profile
The other driver and your passenger both might be at fault.  I suggest that you take it up with your insurance company and the other driver's insurance company to determine how they want to handle the claim.  Good luck with this matter.
