More details to this question:
Burned severely on landlords property resulting in 24 days in the icu. A gas can was placed to close to a bonfire we were sitting around (owner was present for bonfire.) Am I entitled to any compensation for being injured on her property? I am severely scarred from the waist down now and in constant discomfort. I have also been diagnosed with depression and ptsd secondary to this incident.

This is a difficult question to answer without more information. If the owner of the property placed the gas can close to the fire or knew or should have known it was there, you might have a claim against the owner of the property. You also might have a claim against the person who placed the gas can near the fire. If you knew the gas can was there, it could also be argued that you assumed the risk or were contributorily negligent. There is also the quest or whether or not the owner of the property had insurance that would cover the situation.
