Asked on Apr 02nd, 2014 on Automobile Accidents - Virginia
More details to this question:
Auto accident. Rear Ended. I was NOT injured. Their insurance company accepts fault. Insurance Co. totaled my vheicle. and htey have put me in a rental car. All they are offering is payment of vehicle. I had to miss work the day of the accident and a few hours the day the adjuster came out. They will not compensate me for my time lost. Do I have any recousre? Or do you only get compensation if you have an injury? All I want if payment for my time lost. I am not asking for more. This has been a TOTAL inconvenience to me.

I suggest that you check with the Bureau of Insurance in Richmond which is a state agency to determine whether you can make a loss wage claim when it is due to only property related damage.  Good luck with this matter.
