recovery clause in contingency agreement

More details to this question:
clause in contract granting attorney power to endorse and deposit into trust account any checks in clients name.also authorizes attorney to deduct fees, cost ect. does this mean I don't get a chance to look at and approve this?

You need to discuss this with you lawyer an address this or if your not in agreement simply retain new counsel. You are not required to give such authority to a lawyer, though you can if you wish to.
