Asked on Feb 25th, 2018 on Automobile Accidents - Florida
More details to this question:
My girlfriend of 4 years rentented a car under her name, we paid for the rental car with my credit card I was not listed as a driver. I was involved in a small crash with a curb in a snow storm damaging the fender and possibly control arm. No damage to the curb and I immediately reported it to my insurance company. They have just now contacted me and said they will not pay for It. (Because I wasn’t listed to drive it) they stated I am going to be sued by her insurance company to cover all of the damages:.

This is possible - you need to see if your car insurance will pay - if not may need to hire a lwyer to defend the lawsuit.
