More details to this question:
I've had an on going accident case since 2007 was awarded a settlement last January but until now I'm still waiting on my settlement from my attorney every day I'm told either the check was sent out / he avoiding my calls . Don't know what to think I need answers. . Frustrated

I suggest that you contact the local bar associate where the attorney is located and politely ask them to investigate. Hopefully, the attorney is still waiting for your settlement, but you have a right to have your questions answered and your phone calls returned.
