Should I have an attourney?

Walking through Costco Store, shoe caught splinter sticking out of pallet in walkway. I fell and broke some ribs. They had a firm,(Gallagher Bassett) contact me through the six weeks it took me to pretty much heal up. I was unable to lay down to sleep and various other activities for a solid six weeks. During this time they kept telling me after this was done and they had me doctors notes and charges, that they would be making some sort of settlement with me. Since they have received the information that they requested, I have not been able to get them to return any of the three different calls that I made to them two weeks ago. Last Monday I called the Costco store to see if the could help me. I talked to a Brad. He said they would get back with me. It's been a few days now. Do I need legal help?
