QUESTION

Should I Release Medical Information

Asked on May 02nd, 2017 on Personal Injury - Florida
More details to this question:
For the past 2 1/2 years, I have been under a doctor's care directly related to injury due to an auto accident. The at fault person's auto insurance has been paying for the medical costs. I have not been released from medical care by my doctor. Recently, the at fault person's insurance company sent me a medical release form so that they could contact my doctor directly to obtain medical information regarding my injury. Should I sign off on the medical release?

You should ask your attorney these questions. If you're not represented you should retain counsel on contingency.
