QUESTION

Staue of Limitation

Asked on Nov 22nd, 2013 on Automobile Accidents - Virginia
More details to this question:
I am close to the 2 year statue of limitation of my car accident. The person who hit me is at 100% at fault since I was parked in a parking lot and she rear end me. I am in the settling part but the insurance company only offered me one offer and didn't want to hear my counter offer. I don't think its reasonable and I'm seeking more. I am not sure what to do next since there is 2 options I think, (warrant of debt and a law suit). Which should I file so i can still petition my worth of bodily harm and pain and suffering i received due to the car accident? a visit to the Emergency room xrays included I received physical therapy & chiropractic sessions I then again needed more physical therapy with a few months of break in between MRI stating i have bludge disks in my cervical spine

Since it appears you are headed to litigation, I highly suggest that you hire an auto accident lawyer to handle this matter for you.  I do not recommend that you handle this on your own since the insurance company for the at fault party is going to hire a lawyer to defend the at fault driver with regard to the lawsuit that is filed against the at fault driver.  Try to find a lawyer in the county/city where the collision occurred.  Good luck with this matter.
