I was recently rear ended while sitting in traffic by a guy driving his company truck. No damage to my car, nor did I feel anything at the time. However, after going home and sleeping, I awoke several hours later unable to move my neck. I called the drivers insurance company, informed them I would be opening a claim, then went to the emergency room. I was told I had whiplash, and that I should visit my doctor. The next day, my doctor told me I did indeed have whiplash, and that I would be very sore for the next few weeks. He also told me not to go to work for 6 days (2 of which were my weekend anyway). I informed the insurance company of all of this, gave a recorded statement, but haven't beyond anything since. It has been nearly two weeks, and they tell me they haven't even talked to their driver. This doesn't seem like a case an attorney would even want to bother with, and I don't have the money it obtain one anyway. But they don't seem to be taking this seriously. What should I do?
You do not need money to hire a Personal Injury attorney. I suggest that you consider hiring an attorney who handles motor vehicle collision claims. Good luck with this matter.
